August Kids Camp Sessions
Regulation & Social Enrichment Kids Camp(ages 3-5 years)
A fun, activities-based social group that provides a combination of direct skill instruction followed by skill application with therapist guidance and support. This program is specially designed for pre-schoolers aged 3 years to 5 years, and will help them develop essential self-regulation and social skills. Through fun and engaging activities, children will learn to understand and manage their emotions, build positive relationships, and interact effectively with others. This camp will be run by STAR Therapy rehab professionals via an interdisciplinary approach.
It will be important for your child to be able to navigate their environment independently and attend small group instruction, as the ratio could be 6 participants:1 adult. If your child needs 1:1 supervision, we kindly request that you attend with your child.
Tuesdays:
August 6th - Understanding Emotions
August 13th - Calming Techniques
August 20th - Expressing Emotions Appropriately
August 27th - Enhancing Social Skills
10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Cost: $30 per week, or $120 for 4 sessions
Sessions will be held at Horizon’s Event Center (10764 County Hwy Q, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729)
Fun With Friends Social Enrichment Kids Camp (ages 6-10 years)
This group is specially designed for children aged 6-10 years and will help kids learn and practice essential social skills through interactive games and activities. Participants will have the opportunity to play fun games while developing valuable abilities like teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. This camp will be run by STAR Therapy rehab professionals via an interdisciplinary approach.
It will be important for your child to be able to navigate their environment independently and attend small group instruction, as the ratio could be 6 participants:1 adult. If your child needs 1:1 supervision, we kindly request that you attend with your child.

Adaptive Swim Group Session (ages 5-17 years)
Our Adaptive Swim Group Session is designed to provide children and teens with disabilities, ages 5 to 17, an inclusive and supportive environment to learn and enjoy swimming. Each session is tailored to meet the unique needs of every participant, ensuring a safe and fun experience. Our experienced instructors use specialized techniques and adaptive equipment to help develop water safety skills, boost confidence, and promote physical fitness. Beyond swimming, the program emphasizes social interaction and teamwork, allowing participants to build friendships and improve their social skills. Join us for a transformative aquatic adventure where every child can thrive and experience the joy of swimming!
Please bring your swim suit and towel. Please also wear a swim diaper if needed. There is space to change. There is no chair lift to get in and out of the pool.
